One night, I was sitting on my back porch just looking out across the small lake in our back yard. I had not often experienced this kind of peace in my life before, and I enjoyed the opportunities to just relax and in my Silent thoughts, let God know just how grateful I was for His Blessings.

If you can teach effective prayer, That is the single most important lesson to give to a person of any faith.

This had been happening a lot lately, so as I listened, it continued.

When you are caught up in your world thinking, you must work within the natural and manmade laws which govern it from that level. When you begin a ministry for instance, say to feed the poor, you are working within those laws, and as you well know, your physicalness is limited. To do this of course is good, and there is a great need for this.

When you work in Spirit, as when in prayer, you are working with the divine laws. Higher laws that are not so limited but bring about great change upon the physical with less physical exertion, and more effectiveness. You all work with these divine laws when you use prayer. The most powerful tool ever granted to mankind is the ability to pray.

Now to help you understand in your mind a more simple way to see what I am speaking about I will explain it in a way that you can understand my meaning. Of course you must realize too, that this is not what actually happens, but you will get the point.

When we have a prayer request, The prayer is a beacon of light, that is sent up from Earth. As it goes up, it is seen by a member of the angelic hosts, who catches it much as you would catch a butterfly, and takes it up.

A tiny butterfly, now when you have separate incidents of the same prayer being sent, there are a number of butterflies at once and we catch them all, but it is still a tiny butterfly, only now, several tiny butterflies, all the same color. Each prayer topic has a different color as well. Now the more attention and focus you give a single prayer, the larger the butterfly. Most butterflies we get are rather small.

Now, when you have two or more, people of one mind together, praying at the same time, it is no longer a butterfly. It is more like a sparrow. As it comes up it is caught and assisted on it's way up to the throne room, by a member of the angelic hosts.

When you have simultaneous prayer circles of light on the same prayer, but one thought, for each thought is a different prayer, you have an eagle, and it too is assisted by an angelic host. The more prayer circles you have at any given moment, on one thought, it becomes greater and greater, both in size and in scope.

I have said simultaneous, you are aware of the world peace movement where they all meditate on peace, the thought of peace, at noon Greenwich Village time. The effectiveness of this is like sending a whale to the throne, not a butterfly, but a whale. There is great commotion in Heaven when these sort of things happen, there is surprise, mirth, there is jubilation.

Now, when you enter into the presence of the Lord, you have emanating from the throne the greatness of His light. In the face of the greatness of His light, a tiny butterfly can be brought in but will not be noticed near as much as an eagle, and certainly not as easily as a whale!

Now I know this sounds like God is not going to pay attention to your prayers, and that is not true at all. What I am saying is, That the more effort, concentration, and the more cooperation, the more the effective the prayer will be.

There have been times however! It is particularly in times of war, when there are individual prayers from all classes, all ages, all types of people on the same thought to end the war, or in times of a famine, or a pestilence of some kind. At these times, you have more butterflies than would fill an entire lake, and all of the same color, as they go, they too go up. Thousands of butterflies, all the same color, now that gets noticed too.

It is not only numbers, it is quality. One thought. If your mind keeps skipping around you have released 15 butterflies of 15 different colors, and in 15 directions. One thought, and one thought only.

When you realize that your time and your concentration need not be lengthy, but quality, is what is important, quality and the cooperation of many, then you can be assured of being effective in your prayer.

If, you could have a school for prayer, with the ability to focus on one thought, the prayer of one thought. Not Aunt Susie, Uncle Joe, etc.., not like that, but one. While we are at it, These are rather unimportant when you look at the present state of the economy. For example. World peace, peace among all nations. The word nations going so far as including the animals, and plants. "Peace among all nations", One prayer thought, "let there be peace among all nations".

When one is being bombarded by millions upon millions of requests, how do you have your request heard so it is noticed upon the requests of others? You tune into the attention level of he who has all answers. What is His attention level? It is the level of love within His heart for the highest good of all that are here. So, to be most effective, you tune your prayers to a level of love in God's heart for the highest good of all people.

You have also been taught the effectiveness of thanksgiving. To be thankful is to make it be, now. And you have been taught to accept your good, "I accept, Peace among all nations Now". If you will teach others effective prayer, call on our Lord Christ, He has asked you to call on him, there are many who do not. They think they must not, they think they can not, I am not sure what they think. To be effective in prayer, you call on Lord Christ and they need not be a "Christian " to call on The Lord Christ, for he will come.

They can call on the Saints, the lessor ones of course, they can also call upon God, but it is the ministry of Our Lord Christ, He who has walked here, in our form. He is the special communicator, it is he who has chosen to feel as you do, and worse, for you have not had to bear what he had to bear. All the time he was here, and continuing even now, he is telling you, "I am in you, I have sent you the comforter, do things in MY NAME." His name, His very name is a direct telephone line to the throne room, His name. The single most important thing you can do is teach people to pray.

Most of all what I would say to you, to make sure you are heard, is to say "Thank-you Father, for you have heard me." One prayer, with thanksgiving, that you accept. That is all there is to effective prayer.

Teach others this one lesson. If you can teach effective prayer, That is the single most important lesson to give to a person of any faith.
