Powerful Prayer is available to all of us. Whether you wish to become a mighty prayer vessel or just increase the effectiveness of your personal prayers, if you follow these guidelines, it will be so.Over the past 10 years I have spoken to literally thousands of people. I have shared with them many of the prayers I have seen answered in my life, and I have been asked by many how does a person get their prayers answered. What is the difference between the average personal prayer which seems to many times go unanswered, to the prayers given by another person who seems to have many prayers answered? I will answer all these questions, and more.
Another question they all ask is:
Q "Is it possible that a particular minister or person has a connection to God that I or an average person may not have?"
A Yes, and NO. There are people who "seem" have a connection that is not the norm when it comes to communicating with God, and these people do seem to get a much greater response in relation to their prayers. However, they are not necessarily angels, or special beings or particular favorites to God. They are no better or worse than any Child of God, but have either by choice or by chance made that connection and have managed to keep it active. In fact, it is not a connection perhaps as much as it is a RELATIONSHIP.
This ability to some may be seen as a gift, as well it may be. However, I have seen evidence that seems to lean towards the idea that this ability is available to all people. While it may well be that some people are indeed gifted in this area, anyone can have their prayers heard and answered, much more often and in a greater way than the average Christian does today. If, they are willing to pay the price. If they want to, and not just as a passing fad or thought. If to them it is seen as something they really want.
I have used this ability many times in my life accidentally, as I am sure many others have too. I have noted the prayers that got answered either rapidly or in great ways, and was aware of the prayers that seemed to be slower to come into being or bloomed with less benefit.
I have learned that there are conditions that must be met for prayer to be effective. The more conditions that are met, the more powerful the result. There are some who always say " But as Christians We are already saved and in God's hands, we don't believe in methods or techniques". To them I will only ask this, "Why is it that in a healing service two people that have the same disease, a non believer may be healed, while the Christian may die?"
Yes, I know there are many that do not want to hear this, and most likely they will even have Doctrine that would lead them to believe otherwise, and to them I have no comments, except that if they add these methods to their Doctrine and beliefs, they will see results, and will not go against their Doctrinal standards in doing so. Another words, you have nothing to loose here, and a whole lot to gain.
I am not a great user of words. I am not a great communicator. Therefore I tend to have to explain my thoughts in several ways to make sure you understand what I am really trying to say. Please do not take anything for granted and do not skip explanations, for each one may only cover one part or viewpoint that will be clarified or adjusted by the next.
I will explain the steps that appear to be important for effective and powerful prayer. Along with each step I will give what is ONLY a possible theory as to why it is important. Remember, that while the steps have been tested and proven to be effective, my explanations as to why are only a possibility or theory, but it seems to fit the tested circumstances so far. In the future, theories as to why may well change and even may contradict what I say here today. But if you follow the steps you will succeed even if the explanation as to why, or the theory is in error.
The steps have been broken into parts. The first part is not a step, but does bring into the light an explanation that will answer why the steps are important, and why many things in life may be the way they are.
I present it as the next part I call preperation, titled "In the Beginning".
