If you are an American, take time to be grateful that we did not have to go through what is going on in Iran right now. Our dissidents are irritating, but they still have their personal liberties.

What this means for you is that you have to be like a guardian angel and watch over our public servants. Tell them what you think. Stay informed and stay free. Keep your representatives aware of what is going on in your neighborhood and use the petition if it is a serious problem that is not respected by your government.

When the economy and our environment are in trouble, this responsibility is even greater. We have all had to give up luxuries and tighten our belts. Many of us have lost our jobs and possibly also our homes. Search your heart for what you think God would have you do in this situation and reach out to your neighbor. Become an angel and protect the environment by purchasing locally grown food and recycle your bottles and cans.
